Final permit in- moving on Friday!

After a month of detail work, we are almost done. Today we got our final permit, tomorrow we pack the condo, and on Friday we move. After 5 years in a hot, cramped bungalow and a year in a condo, we are sooo ready to be in our comfortable, liveable home. Pics to come.

November budget update for our LEED house

Just a quick update on our budget - we are very close to the end of the process as you can see - and while we don't have an exact move in date yet, we are definitely done with the major things. At the moment there are a dozen minor things going on, from getting the last plumbing and electricals done, to completing a list of touch ups and minor repairs. Its a little tough, as the house looks great, and so ready to be lived in. The landscaping has also almost completed - I will try and get out to take some photos soon. In the meantime, you can see that we have remained pretty close to the budget, with a steady flow of expenditures, some associated overages.
